Library Cards
The first library card is free. Lost or damaged cards will be replaced for $1. Your card may be used at libraries in the OWWL Library System.
First time borrowers are limited to 2 items. No one else can use your card.
Children must be 4 years old to get a library card. A parent or guardian’s signature is needed.
Children 13-17 years old will be issued an adult card. No parent /guardian’s signature is needed.
People ages 18 and older must provide proof of current address along with picture ID. If unable to provide proof of address, the library will mail the card to you.
You must have your library card with you in to borrow materials or use the library’s computers.
Services
Ancestry.com – Search your family history. Only available in the library.
Books on Foot – delivery of library materials to homebound town of Lyons residents.
Computers for public use – Printing costs – 20 cents/page b&w, 40 cents/page color
Copier – 20 cents/side, Reduces, enlarges, double-sided copies.
Community Meeting Room – for public use.
Ellison Machine – cuts various shapes from paper, felt, etc.
Fax – $1/page for sending or receiving.
Holds – request materials from libraries in the OWWL Library System.
Laminating Machine – $1/whole page, 50 cents for half page or less.
Medical Equipment Loan Closet – no cost, 3 month loans, and Wayne county residents.
Reference – We answer your questions!
Renewals – Over the phone, in person or online.
Scanner – We can scan pictures/documents up to 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches.
3D Printer – Design, create & print items in 3D. Charge 50 cents/15 minutes of printing.
Wi-Fi – Bring in your laptop or other mobile device and access the library’s free Wi-Fi.
Wireless Printing – Print documents from your device.
